Bethroot 1:1 (Trillium Erectum)

Description:

Bethroot is antiseptic, astringent and tonic expectorant, being used principally to promote parturition and to treat menstrual hormonal problems

Dosage:

*low dose 1-5 mls per day, 10-40 mls per week

Parts Used:

Root and/or stem bark

  • Excessive or irregular menses
  • Intermittent bleeding
  • Dysmennorrhea
  • Strengthens uterus – taken during the last month of pregnancy only
  • Excessive post partum blood loss
  • Intestinal bleeding
  • Diarrhoea and dysentery
  • Douche for leucorrhoea
  • Externally for mastitis
  • Coughs and colds – expectorant

Major Safety Issues:

Avoid using continously during pregnancy – last month only
