Key Indications:
Greater Celandine is an excellent remedy for the treatment of infections of the gallbladder and gallstones. Use with Barberry, Dandelion root and Globe Artichoke.
At higher doses this plant is poisonous, causing powerful purging of the digestive tract.
It may be used as an anti-spasmodic remedy in stomach pain.
Externally the orange latex from the stem may be used in the treatment of verrucae, skin tumours and tinea
