Crampbark 1:2 (Viburnum Opulus)

Description:

Cramp Bark is mainly used for dysmenorrhoea

Dosage:

*low dose 0.5-4mls per day, 5-30 mls per week

  • Spasmolytic
  • Hypotensive
  • Peripheral vasodilator
  • Mild sedative
  • Astringent

Key Indications:

  • Spasmodic dysmenorrhoea (acute doses), endometriosis
  • Miscarriage (threatened or repeated)
  • Hypertension
  • To prepare for labour (in late pregnancy)
