Jamaican Dogwood is a mild sedative and is used for insomnia and anxiety as well as painful conditions related to muscle spasm


3-11 mls per day, 20-40 mls per week

Do not exceed recommended dose
Has been used as a fish and insect poison (rotenone impairs oxygen consumption) but has negligible toxicity in rats
Traditional texts suggest may cause nausea vomiting & headache in some people even at low dose
